Falconry has been an essential part of Bedouin survival in the desert for thousands of years, and this tour lets you interact directly with these magnificent birds of prey. We pick you up from your hotel in a 4x4 Land Cruiser and take you to a dedicated desert conservation sanctuary. Meet expert Emirati falcon trainers who will teach you how falcons are trained, cared for, and bonded with their handlers. Put on the heavy leather falconry glove, hold a trained falcon on your fist, and feed it fresh treats. Watch in amazement as the falcon takes off and performs high-speed swoops and dives at speeds exceeding 300 km/h to catch a lure! You will also meet other desert birds of prey, such as Harris hawks and desert owls. After your interactive falconry masterclass, enjoy a scenic dune drive, camel ride, and traditional BBQ dinner at the camp.
